If, within one year (Gator Trax Round Chine Hulls) or within four years (3/16 Bay Boats) from the date of purchase, your hull is in need of repair, BFC Marine will repair any cracks or leaks. BFC Marine will not honor this warranty if damage is a result of abuse. Only manufacturer’s defects and quality of workmanship defects will be covered by this warranty. BFC Marine will NOT cover any aftermarket products not installed at the factory. This includes, but is not limited to, seat bases not installed at BFC, seat pedestals not purchased from BFC, electronics, any holes drilled in the hull, non-factory welding, grinding, or fabrication not installed at BFC Marine. In addition, BFC Marine will not honor warranty work if the installation of any aftermarket accessory is the cause of damage to any part of the hull, being it caused by the installation process, OR the use of that aftermarket product.

Outboard Motor Clause
This hull is designed for use with mud motors only. Use of an outboard engine on this hull MAY result in stress cracks to specific areas of the hull. While we do not forbid the use of outboards on our hulls, we do reserve the right to refuse warranty service on that particular type of stress fracture. Aside from that specific damage, all other repairs discussed above will be covered, even if an outboard is used. In addition, warranty repairs will also be refused if the recommended horsepower for the hull is exceeded. If you intend to use an outboard on your hull in the future, please be aware of this specific void in your warranty.
You may purchase, at the time of your hull’s construction, an outboard package. This will prevent the above mentioned stress cracks and will allow you to use an outboard on your hull and NOT void your warranty.
