Most of these fish, I have to admit, I either caught with, or were a
direct result of the teachings, of one of my closest friends, Gary
Blackledge. Gary is just one of those guys that could catch a
crappie in an empty 5 gallon bucket. You know the type. They guy
that seems to just "have the touch".
I was fortunate to have Gary teach me, not only how to catch
crappie, but also that this style of fishing with tight-line jigs is
an art.
After 20 years of fishing with Gary, I have made countless memories,
caught countless crappie, and developed a friendship that could
never be duplicated without us BOTH being so obsessed with the same
passion for these fish.
So, here's to a guy I wouldn't take a million bucks for from a guy
that aint good at sayin' thanks,
Thank you.

If you don't have a fishin' buddy, I suggest you get one.
Experiences are so much more meaningful when shared with someone who
is as freakin nuts about something as YOU are!
